Bringing Kudo to Singapore
Kudo Daido Juku Singapore was officially established in 2023, marking the introduction of Kudo to the local martial arts scene. Our journey began when a group of passionate martial artists, inspired by the unique blend of striking and grappling in Kudo, sought to bring this modern Budo discipline to Singapore. Determined to train under the best, our founding members traveled to Japan, the birthplace of Kudo, to learn directly from the Daido Juku headquarters. Under the guidance of Jukucho Kenichi Osada and other high-ranking instructors, we immersed ourselves in the philosophy, techniques, and spirit of Kudo. The experience was transformative—not only did we refine our skills, but we also embraced the deeper values of bushido, respect, and continuous self-improvement. After years of rigorous training and certification, we officially launched Kudo Daido Juku Singapore as an authorized branch of Daido Juku Japan, dedicated to promoting the art and philosophy of Kudo in Singapore.
Who We Are
We are a dedicated Kudo dojo committed to teaching modern Budo through a balanced and effective system. As the first officially recognized Kudo dojo in Singapore, we provide structured training in striking, grappling, and self-defense, rooted in authentic Japanese lineage. Founded by Takashi Azuma, Kudo is a full-contact martial art that integrates elements of Kyokushin Karate, Judo, and Jiu-Jitsu. It emphasizes realism, adaptability, and holistic personal development. Our instructors are internationally certified and continue to train under guidance from Japan, ensuring our programs meet the high technical and ethical standards of Daido Juku.
